BOOK REVIEW
Just read the Sea wolf by Jack London. It is a ripping
yarn, with a distinctly period voice. At times London seems to be showing off how well read he is and repeats the same arguments about Wolfie's character from different literary and philosophical sources, too much so.
I've never read of a character described solely in an almost homo erotic physical description plus his philosophy of life.
His female and male protagonists are essentially Victorian in feel, i.e. prissy and wimpish. Worth reading none the less.
