The method writing approach I use, often leads me to adopt the views from my fiction in real life. Schizophrenia is a potential consequence.
Mike Crump and I are working on a tag team joint review of Hilary Mantel's, 'A place of greater safety'. Her novel describes some of the horrors of the French Revolution in graphic detail.
Reading widely on that revolution inspired a short story I am working on, 'Rory's nightmares'.We will post this on the site for comments in the near future.
The net result of this has been to turn me away from seeing Revolution, in the physical sense, as a solution. Without exception, it creates terrible results, often worse than the original situation.
As to which direction the new me will take, I am as yet unsure.
