Headline:  Saudi Cleric: Snowmen are Sinful

Seems a nasty winter storm covered much of the Middle East, including northern Saudi Arabia with snow last week.  That prompted a Saudi cleric (because we don’t say Muslim or Islamic any more) to  rule making snowmen was “un-Islamic.”  Said cleric said, “It’s not permitted to make a statue out of snow, even by way of play and fun,” because, well, fun is out of the question.

As though he hadn’t stepped in it quite enough, "God has given people space to make whatever they want which does not have a soul {snowmen have souls}, including trees {huh?}, ships, fruits {huh?}, buildings, and so on," the cleric said.

That’s right, snowmen, my friends.  Regardless of your religious or policical flavor, at last someone has recognized the vast evil that besets the earth.  Studies that I just made up have shown snowman building is “A tawdry imitation of infidel-ism that fosters laziness, eroticism, other salacious behaviors and who knows what else.  Snow-women we don’t have to worry about so much.  They melt quickly in a burqa.”

     Yup, Snowmen = Evil (pictured)

I wish I had enough imagination to make this stuff up.
